The agreement between you and Maison Decant Co. when you use this store.
Use of the site
By browsing or ordering from this site you agree to these terms. You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, and you agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its security, or attempt to access other customers' accounts or orders. Site content, photography and copy belong to Maison Decant Co.; brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the fragrance contained in a decant.
What you are buying
Every listing on this site is a decant: an authentic fragrance transferred by hand from its original retail bottle into a smaller atomizer of 2 mL, 5 mL or 10 mL. You are not buying the original retail bottle, its packaging or any manufacturer warranty, and Maison Decant Co. is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the fragrance houses whose products we decant. Fill volumes are accurate to the labelled size; spray counts quoted on product pages are approximate and vary by atomizer.
Orders and pricing
Prices are shown in US dollars and may change at any time before an order is placed. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract is formed when we confirm the order after payment is captured. We may cancel and refund an order if an item is out of stock, if a price or listing error is discovered, if the shipping destination is not eligible, or if we suspect fraud. Stock shown on the site is live but is only reserved once payment completes, so an item can sell out while it is in your cart.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. By submitting a payment you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout where required.
Shipping and delivery
We ship to eligible United States addresses, including all 50 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. We cannot ship internationally or to APO, FPO or DPO addresses. Standard shipping is $5.99 and is free on merchandise subtotals of $69 or more. Delivery estimates are estimates only; risk passes to you once the carrier delivers the parcel to your address.
Returns
All decant sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or for opened or used products. If your order arrives damaged, leaking, incorrect or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos so we can make it right. Full details are on the returns and refund policy pages.
Accounts and reviews
An account is optional — you can check out as a guest. If you create one, keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Reviews you submit must be your own honest experience of a fragrance you bought. We may decline or remove reviews that are off-topic, abusive, promotional or fake.
Liability
Fragrance is a cosmetic product. Test on a small area first, keep it away from eyes, heat and children, and stop using it if irritation occurs. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Maison Decant Co. operates.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
